I started my insurance career, subconsciously at the dinner table, at the age of 12 when my mom took on an agency in Rome, GA. I didn’t know it at the time, but due to secondhand knowledge, and growing up around the insurance business, I was destined to be a perfect fit for the role.  I wasn’t ready for a desk job after graduating, so I spent 6 years in the Marines as a crew chief servicing and crewing helicopters. This was an invaluable experience that taught me a lot about being a leader and operating in a high-risk management environment.
